Chelsea booked their place in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night. Goals from Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech gave the Blues a comfortable advantage heading into the second leg in Germany.

Manchester United's hopes of reaching the last eight are hanging by a thread after they were beaten 2-0 at home by Atletico Madrid. A first-half strike from Joao Felix and a late goal from Renan Lodi gave the Spanish side a famous victory at Old Trafford.

Other Results

In the other matches played on Tuesday night, Bayern Munich thrashed RB Salzburg 7-1, while Inter Milan beat Porto 1-0.

Chelsea Impress

Chelsea were in impressive form against Borussia Dortmund, dominating possession and creating a number of chances. Havertz opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, with Ziyech adding a second just after the hour mark.

The Blues were comfortable throughout the match and never looked like conceding. They will be confident of finishing the job in the second leg and reaching the quarter-finals.

Manchester United Disappoint
