UEFA Champions League Round of 16 First Leg Results

Chelsea booked their place in the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-0 win over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night. Goals from Kai Havertz and Hakim Ziyech gave the Blues a comfortable advantage heading into the second leg in Germany.

Manchester United's hopes of reaching the last eight are hanging by a thread after they were beaten 2-0 at home by Atletico Madrid. A first-half strike from Joao Felix and a late goal from Renan Lodi gave the Spanish side a famous victory at Old Trafford.

Manchester United Disappoint

Manchester United were disappointing against Atletico Madrid, failing to create many clear-cut chances. Felix gave the visitors the lead in the seventh minute, with Lodi wrapping up the win in the 91st minute.

United were lackluster in attack and struggled to break down Atletico's defense. They will need to improve significantly in the second leg if they are to have any chance of progressing.
