Shane Steichen Rules Out Blackmon For Colts Packers Recalls With Detail Last Trip To Lambeau

Shane Steichen rules out Blackmon for Colts @ Packers – recalls with detail last trip to Lambeau!

Colts' Shane Steichen believes that the team needs to approach Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers with a physical mentality and mindset, and has ruled out CB Tony Blackmon for the game.

Steichen spoke to the media on Friday and said that Blackmon (ankle) will not play against the Packers, while also offering his thoughts on what it will take for the Colts to be successful in Green Bay.

Steichen on Blackmon:

"Tony is a tough player, and it's unfortunate that he's not going to be able to play on Sunday," Steichen said. "But we have other guys who are ready to step up and play well. We're confident in our secondary, and we know that we can get the job done without Tony."

Steichen on playing in Lambeau:

"Lambeau is a great stadium with a lot of history," Steichen said. "It's going to be a tough environment to play in, but we're excited for the challenge. We know that we're going to have to play our best game in order to win, and we're prepared to do that."

"We can't get caught up in the emotion of the moment," Steichen said. "We have to stay focused on our game plan and execute it the way we know how. If we do that, we'll give ourselves a chance to win."
