Four Hitmen to Attend NHL Rookie Camps

Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, and Vancouver Canucks to host Hitmen players

Hitmen players will get the chance to showcase their skills this September at NHL Rookie Camps around North America.

Four Hitmen players have been invited to attend NHL Rookie Camps in September. Forwards Riley Fiddler-Schultz, Ethan Moore, Blake Allan, and goaltender Brayden Peters will participate in camps with the Calgary Flames, Edmonton Oilers, Ottawa Senators, and Vancouver Canucks respectively.

Fiddler-Schultz was selected by the Flames in the fourth round, 117th overall, in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old from Okotoks, Alta., had 19 goals and 46 points in 42 games with the Hitmen last season.

Moore was invited to the Oilers Rookie Camp as a free agent. The 18-year-old from Calgary had 15 goals and 30 points in 62 games with the Hitmen last season.

Allan was invited to the Senators Rookie Camp as a free agent. The 20-year-old from Calgary had 20 goals and 44 points in 63 games with the Hitmen last season.

Peters was selected by the Canucks in the seventh round, 214th overall, in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 18-year-old from Calgary had a 3.22 goals-against average and a .906 save percentage in 32 games with the Hitmen last season.

All four players will be looking to impress NHL scouts and coaches at their respective camps. A strong performance could lead to an NHL contract or an invitation to the team's main training camp.

The Hitmen are proud to have four players attending NHL Rookie Camps. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our players and coaches. We wish them all the best of luck in their pursuit of a dream of playing in the NHL.
