England's Most Prolific Fast Bowler
WEB James Michael Anderson OBE (born 30 July 1982) is an English cricketer who plays for the England cricket team and Lancashire. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers of all time, and became the first England player to take 400 Test wickets in 2018.
Early Career
Anderson was born in Burnley, Lancashire, and made his first-class debut for Lancashire in 2002. He quickly established himself as a talented swing bowler, and made his England debut in 2003.
International Success
Anderson has played over 100 Test matches for England, and has taken over 600 wickets. He was named ICC Cricketer of the Year in 2018, and is England's all-time leading wicket-taker in both Test and One Day International matches.
Lancashire Stalwart
In addition to his international career, Anderson has also been a key player for Lancashire. He has helped the county win two County Championships, and is their all-time leading wicket-taker.
